Where will your imagination

Journeys into Imagination
with VISUAL ARTIST EVA FOLKS
Welcome to Eva Folks Art! You've arrived just in time. We're going to take a journey into imagination. Are you ready? I hope so. There are some really unique works of Mixed Media Art I want to share with you. I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself before we begin. On second thought, maybe not. You can find out more about me later. Right now, I want you to experience my work through your own imagination.
Surreal worlds of imagination have always been a big part of my art journey. They've become intermixed with the ever creative art of pour painting. But it's more than that. Much more. New worlds of imagination are always on the horizon. Are you ready? Let's go. There's so much I want to show you!
Mixed Media Art
WHAT IS IT ANYWAY?
Let's get started by introducing you to Mixed Media Art. The simplest way I can describe it to you is to say it's an artwork composed of a combination of different materials. For example, paints, textures, and even objects can be used to create a variety of effects. They all play a role in what the finished piece will look like. I like to add a little glitter and metallic paint to some of my Mixed Media Art pieces. You can add just about anything with this technique. There are no limits. Can you image that? No limits! Creating whatever your imagination thinks up is an artist's dream.

Aniline Dyes
WHAT ARE THOSE USED FOR?
Have you heard of Aniline Dyes before? I was introduced to this great product many years ago. They're non toxic, water soluble powders. When you mix them in a jar with water they produce vibrant colours of dye which you can apply to wood surfaces. Not only do you get colours on wood you've never imagined before, but you'll be able to see a shimmery iridescence to the wood grain. You're going to love how these dyes work with Mixed Media Art. They help create a very different kind of imaginary landscape. And what better place to spend some of your time every day?
